The Governor-in-Office of Lunda Sul acknowledged on Friday, April 26, the relevance and impact of the mining sector on the national economic balance, which is one of the important pillars in the process of economic diversification.
Leandro Kaputo, speaking in the leisure area at the commemoration of the National Mineiro Day, which brought together more than three hundred people, attributed the achievements in the sector to the workers who, untiringly, transform nature into wealth in a sustainable way.
The increase in the technical and professional capacity of the workers of the largest Angolan diamond company, has continued, has allowed “greater production and consequent increase in the state coffers”.
The minister considered the relations with Catoca excellent and guaranteed “moral and institutional support for the consolidation of relations in the pursuit of the objectives that aim at the community,” he said.
In a message read by the Deputy General Manager for the Administrative Area, Paulo Mandela, the Director General of Catoca, Benedito Manuel acknowledged the unselfish effort of the collective of workers for the great mining enterprise that should be proud of all of Catoquense.
